The scheduled Shipping Date for Three Books was June 27, 2008.

Please allow two weeks (domestic addresses) and three weeks (international addresses) from June 27 for receipt of this shipment. While some shipments occurred prior to June 27, the majority were shipped on July 27.  If after the specified time frame you have not received your books, please contact our office at frosh@stanford.edu.

If you received duplicate shipments of the Three Books, please note that this was an error and we apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.  If you haven’t yet notified our office of this discrepancy, we ask that you please click on the link below to generate a return label, print the label and affix it to the extra package, and drop it in a USPS mailbox.   With this label, you can return the duplicate set of books at no cost to you.

The Vaden Health Forms deadline has passed.

Freshman Dean's Office

The Freshman Dean's Office (FDO) welcomes and integrates freshmen into the Stanford family from acceptance of admission through the end of the first undergraduate year. It does so by addressing students' individual transitional needs, connecting students to resources and opportunities, and cultivating an understanding of Stanford's history and traditions. The FDO sends you Approaching Stanford, plans your New Student Orientation, provides programs during the academic year, and helps you with questions and issues, both large and small.
